Shrey Singla founded Tinovo Steel with a clear conviction: that Indian manufacturers deserve the same quality of imported steel — and the same reliability of supply — that the world's best factories enjoy.
He entered the steel trade early, learning the business from the ground up in Mumbai's iron and steel market — grading material in warehouses, negotiating with stockists, and understanding what processors actually need beyond a test certificate. Over more than a decade in the trade, this evolved into direct import relationships with mills and first-tier trading houses across South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, the Netherlands and China.
His expertise spans grade selection, price negotiation across market cycles, quality assessment at origin and the documentary discipline that international steel trade demands — letters of credit, pre-shipment inspection and customs compliance. He is known among customers for straight answers: what a mill can genuinely deliver, and what it cannot.
Under his direction, Tinovo supplies steel pipe, GI, CR, Tinplate and PPGI to packaging, roofing, appliance and engineering customers across India from its base at Akshar Business Park, Vashi — minutes from JNPT, the country's largest container port.
